Not a particularly hot summer, but we were blessed with many long sunny days after a cold and brutal winter. At Ambrose Marine Construction we were busy for many months rebuilding docks and breakwaters that were destroyed by the shifting ice during early Spring.
Although a majority of our projects are completed in the Lakes Region, this past July we were able to spend a morning at the UNH Jackson Estuarine Laboratory on the shores of the Great Bay in Durham to help count oyster spats. Curious what an oyster spat is?
The Squam Rangers is a great program offered by the Squam Lakes Association. In short, by signing up to "Hike the Trails" you will embark on an epic adventure to successfully complete the 50 miles network of hiking trails in the Squam Watershed. We encourage everyone to take on this challenge offered by the SLA to reconnect with the outdoors and experience some truly remarkable sights.
