Ambrose Marine Construction was awarded the contract at Quayside Yacht Club in Moultonborough, NH to rebuild their docking system and repair an existing lighthouse. This project will commence in the winter of 2014.
Although a majority of our projects are completed in the Lakes Region, this past July we were able to spend a morning at the UNH Jackson Estuarine Laboratory on the shores of the Great Bay in Durham to help count oyster spats. Curious what an oyster spat is?

In short, by signing up to "Hike the Trails" you will embark on an epic adventure to successfully complete the 50 miles network of hiking trails in the Squam Watershed. We encourage everyone to take on this challenge offered by the SLA to reconnect with the outdoors and experience some truly remarkable sights.
New Hampshire winters are always cold, but this past year seemed to last a little bit longer than most. Weeks after the first day of spring there was still a couple feet of ice on Lake Winnipesuakee and it just didn't seem like they would ever call the "ice out". Lakes Region residents and tourists anxiously wait for the ice out because it's our unofficial way of realizing winter is over and the spring season has begun.
