Ambrose Marine Construction recently participated in the 2015 Lake Congress hosted by the NH Lakes Association, a group “dedicated to protecting New Hampshire lakes and their watersheds through education and advocacy.” It was great to spend a day with businesses, associations and individuals who share our goal and desire to see the unmatched beauty and cleanliness of our lakes remain for generations to come.
It is with great pleasure to announce that we recently added to our dependable fleet of barges with a brand new, made in Kentucky barge. This new addition will allow us to work more efficiently with a larger deck for the excavator to maneuver and mobilize material. Our team worked closely with RPS Barge Company to design a custom 24' x 60' sectional barge. Once it arrived in our yard in Meredith we prepped it with protective mats, cleats, ramps, and other equipment.
It has been another long and grueling winter here up on Lake Winnipesaukee, but that's how we like it. The weather did not stop our crew from working during the cold, short days repairing the docking system at Quayside Yacht Club in Moultonborough. Now the calendar officially says its spring and we are putting together our "ice out" schedule which includes new dock projects, a boathouse, perched beaches, and of course all our seasonal dock installs.
